How Socialscale reports impact.
A simple way to see what creators, content, and products are actually worth.
Why we built this
Our team has been building creator P&Ls for close to 10 years.
Creators and content are impactful. The problem is they are not always correctly attributed — fees go in one place, boost in another, ads claim one number, the store shows another, and the brand is left guessing what actually worked.
That is why we build Socialscale: a transparent overview of what you invested, what reach you got, and what store sales you can honestly join — and an equally clear view of what you cannot attribute yet.
We would rather show an empty store-sales line than invent a perfect ROAS.
Why this matters
Most brands pay a creator, then judge the result on likes and views. That misses the real question:
What did we invest, what reach did we get, and what did the store actually sell — and how sure are we of that?
Socialscale answers that without mixing different kinds of numbers into one confusing total, and without pretending attribution is perfect when it isn’t.
Socialscale Impact Matrix
Every number in Socialscale sits in a matrix:
Pillars — Content · Creators · Products (what you roll up)
Blocks — Marketing · Performance · Sales (how attention and money move)

Store sales are the source of truth for revenue — when an attribution exists.
Ads-reported sales are useful for optimization — they are not your ledger. If store sales cannot be attributed, we show no store sales for that row. We do not fill the gap with a guess — but you still get the full picture of what you invested, what reach you got, and what is still missing.

How we measure impact
We look at creators, content, and products using the same stack:
Total investment = creator/content fees + ad boost
Store revenue = what actually sold
Return on investment = store revenue ÷ total investment
Reach = views and engagement (shown, not treated as money)
Example - one video:

Creators, content, and products
Creators
A creator is more than one post. They may create organic content, get boosted in ads, and drive sales through a storefront or affiliate-style motion.
Socialscale rolls that into one creator impact — so you see total value, not vanity metrics.
Content
Each piece of content can carry its own fee, boost, reach, and store sales — so you know which assets deserve more spend.
Products
See which products creators want to push, and which ones actually sell — so you know what to brief, stock, and fund.
Dashboards and overview pages
Your overview can show marketing, performance, and e-commerce together. That is intentional.
What we don’t do:
Add ads-reported sales to store sales and call it “Revenue”
Hide money behind likes
Show one vague “impact score” that mixes engagement and dollars
What we do:
Show the full picture side by side
Keep Revenue = store sales
Calculate combined return as store sales ÷ (fees + ad spend)
Where to invest next
Once the stack is clear, decisions get easier:
